I’m not sure which part of John Milone’s fundraising campaign is more impressive: the fact that he’s planning to swim/bike/run 7000 miles in 2007, or that he’s aiming to provide food, clean water, and necessary services to 10 children for 3 whole years. He’s even taken a trip to Rwanda to connect directly with the children who are benefiting from all this generosity.
This is no small fundraising campaign in either its scope or its ambition. John has already inspired over 30 online donors – and even more offline – who have given almost half of his $12,600 goal. He’s also inspiring his fellow fundraisers, including nominator Kirsten Clark, who raved about how amazing John is.
Maybe it’s his clear commitment to the cause that has inspired such an outpouring, maybe it’s his knowledge of the situation and how his contributions will help, all of which is made clear in his personal fundraising message. Maybe it’s simply that impressive figure of 7000 miles that’s generated so many generous donations. Check out his page to decide for yourself, and perhaps get inspired to do some ambitious fundraising of your own.

Good luck John!
