FirstGiving Insights launches: a rich source of data analysis and fundraising resources
This week FirstGiving launched FirstGiving Insights, a new research offering to help nonprofits understand donors and donor behavior. The FirstGiving Insights website (http://insights.firstgiving.com) will regularly report on trends within the greater world of giving through regular blog posts, guest blog posts, recorded webinar content, white papers, and trend papers. FirstGiving Insights aims to bring giving analysis, donor profiles, and fundraising research to small to midsized nonprofits, a market that was previously underserved by expensive donor data research offerings. Karsten Robbins, CEO of FirstGiving explains, “FirstGiving Insights is intended to be ‘data for the rest of us,’ offering invaluable knowledge to nonprofits for who detailed donor demographics were previously out of reach.”
In addition to the regular blog, webinars, and donor behavior research which will be regularly posted to the site, FirstGiving Insights is offering its first product, the Donor Profile Report. The report analyzes key demographics and giving trends amongst a nonprofit organization’s donors, offering nonprofit organizations a better understanding of the philanthropic mind of donors and suggesting targeted approaches to tailor asks to the specific interests of individuals.
The report enables development directors and fundraising professionals to quickly and effectively identify their donors with the greatest long term potential for the organization. You can download a sample copy of the Donor Profile Report at http://info.firstgiving.com/donor-demographics-and-donor-profiles-in-firstgiving-insights-sample-report.
In addition, FirstGiving Insights is pleased to offer the first peek into Understanding Donor Behavior: Insights from FirstGiving 2007 – 2010 as a webinar February 17, at 1pm EST/10am PST. Register online here.
