Good Old Fundraising on New Facebook

Remember the old Facebook? Remember when you could post your Firstgiving fundraising page to your profile?

When new Facebook arrived on the scene, it shook a few things up.  Has your fundraising page been relegated to your “Boxes” tab, languishing in obscurity next to bumper stickers and cities you’ve visited?  Now, thanks to a recent update to our Fundraising application, you can once again add your fundraising page to your profile! Here’s how:

Stay with us here:  If you’re on Facebook, you either already have the Fundraising application or you need to get the Fundraising application.

If you already have the Fundraising application, click on your “Boxes” tab.  In the top right-hand corner of the Fundraising application, there’s a drop-down menu.  Click “Move to Wall tab.”

If you need to get the Fundraising application, click the “Applications” drop-down (drop-up?) menu at the very bottom of your Facebook profile on the left and then click “Find more.”  Enter “fundraising” in the search field, and the Firstgiving application will pop right up:

Add the application, and from there you can add your fundraising page(s).  Facebook will give you the option to add the pages to your “Boxes” tab or to your profile.

Ta-Da!  Your Facebook profile is now complete!  The app shows up like this:
