Need an extreme makeover??

We won’t be much help when it comes to  a beauty or house makeover, but is your nonprofit in need of a marketing and computer technology makeover?  If so, we know just the people, Geek Girl.

 

The Extreme Geek Girl Makeover contest is open to any 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in the greater Cape and Island’s area in Massachusetts.  The winner of the contest is entitled to a 1/2 day audit of a  nonprofit marketing and technological structure, a library of useful books, a basket of “geeky” tools, and gift certificates and discounts for business in the area.  What a great way to jump start an online marketing campaign, or get in to social media.

Geek Girl’s mission is to educate and empower every girl and woman  on every skill level and income level on computer technology.  They also provide a legacy by giving back and paying it forward.   Leslie, the founder, offers a seriers of Boot Camps, which she classifies as technological “unconferences,” that provide information on marketing, user/customer experience, computer software and much more.  Attendees to the Boot Camp are invited to participate in classes to gain a better understanding on social media, database management, google analytics, search management and so much more.

All you have to do is submit an entry form telling Geek Girl why your nonprofit deserves to win.  But hurry, applications must be sumbited by November 30th at 5pm!
