Partner spotlight: Niambi Emanuel

We recently launched Firstgiving’s partnership program, and periodically, we’ll be blogging Partner Spotlights to introduce you to our new partners.  Like us, our partners work with non-profit organizations doing wonderful work for a variety of causes, and we’re helping them raise more money online.  Today we’re speaking with Niambi Emanuel of JAI Consultants.

How did you get started working with non-profit organizations?

My Godmother introduced me to working with her non-profit organization, Indiantown Community Outreach, Inc.  They provide and develop the community through health and youth initiatives for disadvantaged families and individuals, and seek to enlighten and empower families through a greater awareness of health, mind and lifestyles.  I was inspired by the work of this organization.

How do you help non-profit organizations in your capacity as a consultant?

My consulting firm provides real-time management guidance, project consultation and reorganization services for non-profit start ups.  JAI Consultants believe that non-profit organizations and small businesses are the fuel of today’s economy.  We examine an organization’s infrastructure and figure out how to cut costs, invest efficiently, and create new revenue streams.  We want non-profit organizations to reach their vision and their greatest potential.

Why did you decide to work with Firstgiving?

Firstgiving is an innovative company that gives non-profit organizations many opportunities, including the ability to increase revenue, generate awareness for a cause, and facilitate community involvement.

Thanks Niambi!
