What If?
At Firstgiving, we constantly see people doing incredible things, often as a result of tragedy. Take dog, Abigail, for example. Set on fire by humans, Abigail was rescued by a neighbor, but not before the fire took its toll on her body. Now under care of Karma Rescue, Abigail continues to display incredible strength and perseverance. Despite her unfathomable ordeal, Abigail continues to give kisses to those who are taking care of her.
Sometimes, we can get so distracted by fundraising that we forget all the other ways to help. Though raising money online is an incredibly important way to do so, don’t forget about everything else that’s out there. I received a great video today by the Dispatch Foundation. Their mission is simple: “to prove that a bunch of rabid fans can change the world.” As a (rabid) fan of this band for years, I’m constantly reminded of the power each of us has.
